Bella Vista Arkansas was, for over 40 years, a planned recreational community created by visionary John Cooper.  Bella Vista as a residential community was started in 1965. 41 years later, on November 7, 2006,  resident voters turned the unincorporated village of Bella Vista, Arkansas into the Town of Bella Vista, Arkansas, complete with a town government.  A census is planned for the near future, at which time, the numbers are expected to turn Bella Vista Town into a full fledged City!

BELLA VISTA IS A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE AND BE ACTIVE!

Thanks to fine golf courses, terrific lake recreation opportunities, and many clubs and activities, Bella Vista has long been a favorite destination for retirees young at heart.  However, the unprecedented growth of Northwest Arkansas in recent years, thanks in great part to it's close proximity to Bentonville (home of Wal-Mart),  Rogers, Springdale and Fayetteville Arkansas, has helped to change demographics of Bella Vista, Arkansas.
