These tips are for the busy family on the go who's homes
are well lived in when they get that call asking if they
can show their house within the hour!
1. Stuff all your dirty
cloths into the washing machine. The normal washing
machine can hold up to three basketfuls of dirty cloths
if they are really packed in there. You can also
fill the dryer if you have more then the washer will hold.
Just be sure to tell everyone not to turn on the washer,
unless, of course, you want a new one.
2. Unclutter your
countertops by putting small personal items into your
larger pans, put the lids on them and hide them in the
over. Some people do open the oven, and the pots in
the over won't look too conspicuous. Just remember
to empty the pots when the showing is over.
3. Take the trash
out, put in a new trash bag, then go from room to
room picking up clutter and putting it in the trash
can. When all the clutter is picked up, tie the
trash bag but leave it in the trash can. After the
showing remember to empty the trash bag, unless you want
new stuff! |
